As a seasonal visual sales associate at Rockefeller Center's flagship Anthropologie store in the fall and winter of 2014, I worked to develop original displays and assist the visual managers in the design and execution of the seasonal window and interior displays. This meant prototyping and fabricating hundreds of life-sized birds - from cardinals whose feathers were individually cut pieces of red plaid fabric, to goldfinches made of hand-dyed and laminated paper and denim, to the neon pink and gold flyers adorning the New York Cityscape below.

I have always credited my love of woodworking to my boat-builder dad, who taught me how to use a saw and build with my hands as a kid. Now I use those skills for slightly smaller-scale projects; from bread boards to small tables, shelves, and homemade headboards.
